Some users get annoyed by Captchas. It only requires the user to have javascript enabled. I am not sure what my few readers think.... there are a coupld of drawbacks: 1) it probably SLOWS down the process of commenting, compared to a captcha 2) it won't let non-javascript-enabled browsers to post (think Mobile Phones, for example) - but this was true also for the captcha.
